Boldly Building Beauty is Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church’s campaign to build a suitable space to offer sacrifice to the Lord. Simply put, we are building a beautiful Catholic church in Decatur, AL for all of Morgan County!
Art Gala Fundraiser | Annunciation of the Lord
This semi-formal event will be a silent auction of art to serve our efforts to build a beautiful Catholic Church. As an added flare, the artist will be doing a live painting to be auctioned off at the end of the night.

Time: 6 to 9 p.m.
Location: Huntsville Botanical Garden

Who is Building this Church?
Duncan G. Stroik
World Renowned Architect of Sacred Spaces
Duncan G. Stroik, AIA, is a nationally recognized architect, author, and professor at the University of Notre Dame. Based in South Bend, Indiana, he leads a firm dedicated to civic and ecclesiastical architecture rooted in classical tradition and human-centered design. His work reflects a commitment to beauty, transcendence, and timelessness, especially in sacred spaces. Widely published and featured in major outlets like The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Architect, Stroik is also a leading voice in sacred architecture as the founding editor of Sacred Architecture Journal and author of The Church Building as a Sacred Place.
